NCSPU and University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne postgraduate student got a scholarship named after V.I Vernadsky

A scholarship program named after V.I.Vernadsky provides training, internships, research activities in France for a period of six months during three years.

Oleg Chervov, a postgraduate student of both the NCSPU and the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, was chosen among other candidates to get a scholarship from the French government for the Russian post-graduate students.

Within the framework of this program, a postgraduate student is living in France and giving classes in one of the schools of Troyes. He is working on his thesis and collecting material for the further development of the joint project of the two universities – a digital teaching stimulator. He is one of the members of the research group at the NCSPU.

It should be noted that in selecting the candidates for a scholarship, the attention was focused on the prospects of the projects and their history. It was noted that the NCSPU and the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne have a long cooperation history; lots of programs have been implemented and a collaborative project digital teaching stimulator is clear evidence of this cooperation.

At present, Oleg Chervov is working together with his colleagues from France and Russia on a new version of a teaching stimulator. He attended some classes held specially for conducting research on the project. He took pictures, made videos, gathered material which will be used in making a new version of a teaching stimulator. The colleagues from France, French students, and professors of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne helped him and commended the effective cooperation between the two universities; they highlighted that this cooperation could have big prospects.

From October 18th till October 24th, Oleg Chervov was participating in the work of the International Conference of mathematicians in France (Île de Ré). Nearly 100 leading scientists, researchers, the authors of the books on methodology and student books from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Canada, Brazil gathered together to share experience, conduct workshops, theoretical and practical classes. It was a good chance for networking.
