Andrei Vinogradov, NCSPU Senior Researcher, conducted a seminar and a lecture in the University of Regensburg (Germany)

Andrei Vinogradov, NCSPU Senior Researcher, told about his research at the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS).  The topic of the lecture was the fight against industrial pollution in the late Russian Empire (1870-1917). His ongoing doctoral theses, related to the same issue, as well as his research grant will be finalized in December. According to Andrei Vinogradov, IOS is one of the leading centers in Germany in the area of East-European research. The invitation to the Institute was a good chance for him to present the results of the research at the high-level and to gather valuable feedback. Many professors and students of the University are interested in studying Russian and Soviet history, working at Russian archives and libraries. They are also interested in student exchange. It can become a basis for further cooperation.
