The results of the competition “The coziest hostel room” and “The best hostel unit” were summarized

The competition was aimed at systematizing the organization measures to keep order and observe the rules of hostel living, to optimize the living conditions, to reinforce the accountability of the students.

Since 1^st of May, during a few weeks, the student-activists and the hostel educator visited the hostel rooms to identify the competition winners. The competition committee paid special attention to a creative design and approach to the decoration of the rooms. To identify the winner they took into consideration:

-cleanliness of public spaces;

-availability of information boards;

-elements of creative design;

-organization of duties;

The international students are currently living at the hostel too. They performed their duties with devotion, showed creativity and personal approach. Presenting their room, the students told the committee about the friendship between peoples, hospitality, national cuisine and traditions. Many of them demonstrated their culinary skills. Despite certain difficulties – all the participants were worth praise, the committee identified the winner.

In the category “The best hostel unit” the winners were: unit4 (1 place), unit 7,5(second place), unit 11.5(3 place).

In the category “The coziest room” the 1 place went to room 404, 2-405, 3-710.

The winners were given memorable prizes and gift certificates.
