The meeting with French colleagues for the project “The simulator of pedagogical activity”

Today, through videoconference, there was a joint experts’ meeting (led by Alfinur Galiakberova, the NCSPU Rector) to test a computer simulator.

The NCSPU since 2019, together with French colleagues from the University of Reims, have been testing a computer simulator of pedagogical activity to form professional skills to be able to make decisions in learning situations during Mathematics. The project will allow the students to form the decision making skills and reflectively examine professional reaction in various learning situations.

The project leaders Elmira Gallyamova, the Head of the NCSPU Department of Mathematics and Physics and Irina Zakharova, the Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary and Pre-school Education, told about the development of the joint project, voiced their suggestions on further developing of the project. The Professor of the Methods of Teaching Mathematics from the University of Reims, Emprin Fabien, in his turn, gave his recommendations and provided advice on the issue at stake.

Such kind of research is conducted in Russia for the first time. According to the NCSPU representatives and the representatives of the University of Reims, this project will help not only train high-level human resources, but also enrich the educational systems of both countries by the new methodological and psychological aspects of training.

The findings can be used by the professors and the educators from the teacher-development programs.
