What was it like: Daria Pestrukhina, NCSPU student, about All-Russia Forum of Leaders of Student Initiatives

The Forum brought together the most proactive and ambitious students from all over the country. The participants represented 33 Pedagogical Universities.

The major program began with a workshop on “What should a teacher of the future be like?” conducted by Alikhan Dinaev, the winner of the All-Russia contest “The teacher of the year 2018.” We spoke about the tasks of the teachers of the future, discussed how to devise interactive classes, how to be on the same wavelength with the pupils.

Later, we had to present our universities at the project session on “Successful practices of the work of volunteers.” I told about the implementation of the NCSPU project “The volunteers of education,” about the way the classes were conducted during self-isolation. The colleagues from other universities were interested in our innovation – a possibility to get a degree “The teacher of supplementary education.”

Within the framework of the Forum, there were the meetings with Deputy Ministers of Education RF and the representatives of the Federal Youth Agency.

We made friends with all the participants. We talked during our free time, discussed the projects of our universities and then went for a walk across the capital. This Forum is what our teacher community lacked. We came up with the idea to establish an “Association of the leaders of student initiatives of the Pedagogical universities.”

To represent the university at a country level is a huge responsibility, I managed to do it, I think! I came from Moscow inspired by the new ideas and ready to work and study. I express my gratitude to the professors and the university administration for the possibility to constantly develop!
