Students of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University took part in the III International Creative Laboratory of young artists “Bashnya”

The art project was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of TASSR and the topic was “Fairy tales in my life. What Tatar fairy tales are.” The Creative Laboratory was held at the Elabuga State Museum Reserve.

The freshmen of the Faculty of Arts and Innovative Design, under the guidance of Anifa Akhmetshina, an NCSPU Associate professor, during 10 days, acquired new skills in creating artworks. Vasili Makashev, the Chairperson of The Palekh’s Union of Artists and Tatiana Makasheva, the member of the Union of Artists RF, delivered the lectures. The students participated in the workshops in pecking enamel, silk painting, clay modeling.

The participants of the creative laboratory took the time to admire the history of the ancient cities: Kazan and Elabuga, as the excursions to Elabuga were organized for them. They visited the “Devil’s fort”, the museum named after V.Bekhterev, the house-museum of Ivan Shishkin, Durova’s house-museum.

The XV International art-symposium in modern art “The Kaleidoscope of friendship” was held in Elabuga on those dates too. The students had a chance to communicate with the artists from around the world.

The participants claim that 10 days passed “in one breath.”

Alisa Filippova – a first-year student of the Faculty of Arts and Innovation Design:

“It was an unforgettable sensation from the days filled with discoveries, findings and impressions. At the same time, the days were full of fruitful creative work. We gained an incredible experience! We got acquainted with new painting techniques. Thanks to our university: during our first academic year we were given an opportunity for creative self-expression.”

The Laboratory gave me lots of positive impressions that I gained from both the workshops and communication with the new people. A lot of things, we learnt here, will be useful for us in the future. This is not only the knowledge: it is the mood of creativity that inspires”

Aisylu Shakirova - a first-year student of the Faculty of Arts and Innovation Design:

“The creative laboratory became a source of inspiration, motivation and new ideas for me. Thanks to the workshops, I learnt about the new arts, techniques: it is valuable experience for me. Here I got acquainted with the wonderful and talented students and professional artists. This project left a positive mood inside, it will be long remembered. University, thank you very much!”
