NCSPU student Sofia Tsander is a prize winner of the All-Russia English Language and Intercultural Communication Olympiad

The two-phase Olympiad was a challenging competition for the student of the Faculty of History and Geography, trained in Geography and Foreign Languages.

According to the rules of the contest, Sofia had to compete with the third-four-year students of the RF universities trained in Linguistics and Philology. Based on the results of the first round, in which the skills in listening, reading and writing were evaluated, only ten participants were chosen for the second round. During the second round, they had to complete a practice-oriented task - a project on “Clash of Civilizations: Lingua-Cultural Issues” and present the project using the MicrosoftPowerPoint technology. It was an extremely difficult task but Sofia showed excellent results!
