About university to parents: Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University holds meeting for parents of prospective students

The start of the enrollment campaign is just around the corner; many schoolchildren have already chosen the university they plan to get admitted to. It is important for their parents to learn where and how their offspring will be trained for their future job. So the university held a meeting for the moms and dads of the prospective students; the parents will see firsthand what the university is like.

More than 100 parents visited Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University. Before the meeting, the guests were given the university tour; they got familiar with the capacities of the Technopark of pedagogical competencies named after K.Valiev and the pedagogical Quantorium named after D.Mendeleev.

NCSPU Rector Alfinur Galiakberova told the parents about the educational opportunities of the university, training programs and about its public and creative groups.

Luiza Mingazova, the secretary of the admission committee, told the parents about the peculiarities of the enrollment campaign 2024: the rules of submission, current training programs and the areas of training.

The parents had an opportunity to ask their questions relating to the submission procedure, the university entry passing scores, exams and deadlines. After that, the parents met with the deans of the faculties who clarified the relevant issues relating to the preparation for admission.

The university has 100 state-funded places more than last year. There will be 800 state-funded places: 640 for the bachelor’s degree and 75 for the master’s degree. There are 75 state-funded places at NCSPU Industrial-Pedagogical College for getting vocational training.
