“Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University is a real source of manpower. Also important are the conditions in which future teachers are trained.” Deputy of State Duma assesses progress of repair work in NCSPU Building 3

The major repairs of NCSPU Building 3 started at the beginning of May. The facility with an area of 4000 m2 was transferred to NCSPU with the direct participation of the State Duma Deputy Alfia Kogogina back in 2019; earlier it belonged to the Ministry of Sports RF. In 2021, the major repair plan was developed; 240 mln rubles were allocated from the federal budget for this purpose.

Now the work is in full swing. The construction workers are strengthening the walls and doing the floors. According to contractors, the roof work will have been finished by August 15. Currently, the construction workers have completed 30% of total volume. The design and estimate documentation for the second phase of the repairs is being prepared; it is planned to be accomplished in 2025. During the inspection, Alfia Kogogina noted that despite the tight schedule, they had achieved a lot.

“Taking into consideration the fact that the first phase is to be completed by November 1, we can see a full picture: the roof is ready, the entrance doors are to be installed soon; judging by the plan, the classrooms will have different content and a different look. I think the students and professors will feel comfortable here. For good reason, the state entrusted the university not only the students but the teachers as well. The teachers are trained here too. NCSPU has retrained more than 3000 teachers so far. NCSPU was and will be a source of manpower! We are rightly proud of this university. We promise to fully support NCSPU,” assured Alfia Kogogina.

 The three-storey building with a library, cafeteria, gyms and an Assembly Hall, also a gym for aerobics – all will be redecorated. According to NCSPU Rector Alfinur Galiakberova, both students and professors are all in anticipation.

“We are looking forward to the end of the repairs! I would like to express my gratitude to Alfia Kogogina for her huge contribution to the development of our university. It concerns not only the reconstruction of NCSPU Building3 but also it concerns the moral support at all levels. The Building will accommodate the Faculty of Arts and Design, the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports and also the Faculty of History and Geography. It should be noted that the project design was carried out by NCSPU graduate and by the students of the Faculty of Arts and Design. A lot of work has been done. And this unity between me as a manager and a State Duma deputy will allow us to resolve all the problems that concern the reconstruction of Building 3,” noted Alfinur Galiakberova.

According toAlfia Kogogina , “the experts from Higher School of Economics rated the districts which build the best condition for getting education. Tatarstan is among the top three along with Mcow and Saint Petersburg. I guess that this is excellent team work. The RT is the place where the best tend to go.
