The students of NCSPU Faculty of Geography together with the professors had their summer practice in the Southern Urals. The trip was far from usual: the first-year students prepared a special program for the graduates. According to the organizers, the graduation ceremony was unforgettable
The schedule was rich in events. During the first day, on the arriving in Miass, the students were accommodated in one of the recreation centers overlooking the lake Turgoyak; they lived in the tents for two days. It was a romance…
“After breakfast, cooked in cauldron, we set off to visit a museum in the Ilmen Nature Reserve; then we went to see the rocks of the Ustinov limestone and eat wild strawberries! And there we had a kind of a field graduation party. It was rather unexpected for the fifth-year students and it was a pleasant moment – the students and professors cared for us,” said the participants.
The trip to the Russian damask, the unique engraving on steel, first steel cannons and first sea-based missiles - the city of quality steel industry Zlatoust met the students from Chelny. Many students will not forget the arms factory. They also visited a national park Taganay where they were literally on the border of Asia and Europe and saw the rock Semibratka.
“Later we went to the Zyuratkul National Park where we lived in small cottages near the lake and we happened to visit a bathhouse there! We will surely remember the river Ai rafting (the Republic of Bashkortostan). To see a wonderful view, we climbed Mount Sokolinka and crawled across the cave which is 50cm wide and 3m long,” said the students. They were not scared of a 10 hour trip home. During the trip, they gathered all the necessary information and took pictures to describe a report on rocks, factories and local sightseeing places.
“We did it 1000%! Thanks to Tatiana Viktorovna and Ania Galiakbarovna! See you later, the Southern Urals!”
