An All-Russian antidrug action was launched in Tatarstan. Such events have been already held. During these police operations, the officers identify up to several dozens of crimes and administrative offences in the area of drug trafficking.
Eliza Akhmetova, the police major, visited Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University to inform the students about the possible aftermaths of drug use, possession and drug trafficking.
“Everyone can inform the police, fulfill their civic duty, to help find a criminal and save someone’s life. Currently, the cases attracting the youth to drug distribution have increased. One example: a 16 year-old girl was caught by our law enforcement organs; she had just finished school and to earn quick money she distributed drugs. She was caught red-handed. It should be noted that the young girl was not given the money for trafficking. However, she is awaiting a heavy punishment,” said Eliza Akhmetova.
“You are young. You have an entire life ahead of you. Don’t fall for quick money, pay attention to those who surround you. If a person starts drug trafficking, his behavior changes considerably. And those who use drugs can be identified from a mile away: their vision is blurred and they behave inadequately,” added the police major.
The police officers call the youth to be vigilant. And call the police at 8(8552) 37-91-52, 02 or 112.
