Students of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University pass I selection (university) round of “Open International Student Internet Olympiads”

The students of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University were faced with rather complicated questions passing the selection round of the “Open International Student Internet Olympiads.” They were supposed to complete the works in the following subjects: “Russian”, “Pedagogy”, “The History of Russia.” 8 NCSPU students took part in this round. The completion time was regulated: 120 minutes. The best participants will be invited for the II round.

The Open International Student Internet Olympiads with the use of infocommunication technologies have been held since 2008. They have become the most large-scale student Olympiads in which more than 50 thousand students compete in 17 subjects of higher professional education.

The possibilities of the Internet Olympiad are enormous:

-         Systematic mass work to identify the gifted young people who have capabilities for research; the development of creative abilities;

-   Increase in infocommunication culture of students and professors;

- Evaluation of the quality of preparation (at Russian and International levels);

-   Improving of the quality of training.

The results of the Internet Olympiads are taken into consideration

1. During the accreditation of the universities and in the project “The best educational programs of innovative Russia” as an independent tool of the evaluation of the student learning outcomes. The relevance of the Internet Olympiads is confirmed by the government accreditation regulations from August 15, 2019. The expert group also takes into consideration the results of the independent evaluation of the quality of the preparation of students which is received under the international comparative research in the field of education in accordance with the criteria and requirements of the Russian, foreign and international organizations.

2. In the project “The best educational programs of innovative Russia.”

3. In the National Aggregate Ranking.

The universities the students of which become the winners of the Internet Olympiads are given the honorific title “The winner of the Open International Student Internet Olympiads” which provides them an opportunity to post a special banner with the logo of the Olympiads on their official websites.

The winners:

• receive diplomas, medals and gifts;

• their photos are posted on the official website of the Olympiads.
