The holding of the meeting at the Rector’s office on Mondays has become traditional. The results of the previous week are usually on the agenda of a two-hour meeting. During the meeting, the Rector Alfinur Galiakberova focused on the participation at the All-Russian conference of the heads of the executive power whose activities are concerned with the management in the area of education.
The main topic of the discussion was the issue relating to the quality of education and upbringing of the younger generation. “Education in Russia faces dramatic changes which can impact positively the younger generation,” noted Alfinur Galiakberova.
The Head of the Federal Service for the Supervision in the Field of Education and Science Anzor Muzaev shared the priorities of the control activities in the field of education in 2024-2025. Sergei Kravtsov, the Minister of Education RF, submitted for the discussion the question relating to the implementation of the new programs in history. They will be implemented at schools in 2025.
One more topic was targeted training; it should become a cornerstone for the training of personnel for the educational establishments.
One of the suggestions was conducting the profile exams for admission to university. It will allow the universities to assess more accurately the readiness of the applicants to study at the teacher-training universities. The innovations will come into effect not earlier than in 2026-2027.
The work of psychological-pedagogical classes at schools was one of the major aspects of the discussion, too.
“Every NCSPU department has been working with certain classes. We would like the applicants ( not less than 50% ) to be the graduates of the psychological-pedagogical classes,” noted the Rector.
The Rector’s advisor Dzhamilya Galagudina told the meeting about the results of the working visit to Turkmenistan. According to the agreements, six NCSPU professors will go to Turkmenistan in November.
The Rector was informed about the University session for the children from Donetsk, about the All-Russian scientific readings, about the trade union reporting and election meeting and about the results of the All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Modern challenges of psychological, pedagogical and defectological education.”
The best of the best were awarded the Certificates of Appreciation. Elena Krasnova, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, and Elmira Galyamova, the Head of the Department of Mathematics, were given the Certificates of Appreciation from the Rector of Chechen State Pedagogical University Ismail Baikhanov for their participation in the work of the All-Russian Forum of young teachers.
InPeCo activists were awarded certificates for the participation in the track and field competitions. The NCSPU team won the first place; the InPeCo team won the second place.
Polina Kozakova, an InPeCo student, was congratulated on her achievements in sports. She won the medals of the Asian Taekwondo Championship.
Marina Gumerova received congratulations on her 50th anniversary. She dedicated 30 years of her life to teaching.
“It sealed my fate,” said Marina Gumerova smiling. She began her career at school as a biology teacher when she still was NCSPU student. In 2000, she started working at the university. Marina Gumerova is a successor of the dynasty of the teachers.
Today, the Gumerov’s family – Roel Gumerov, PhD in Pedagogy, and Marina Gumerova, PhD in Pedagogy, are the pride of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University.
