On May 28, 2025 Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University will mark its 35th anniversary since the RSFSR Council of Ministers decided to establish a pedagogical university. In this regard, the anniversary book will recount the activities of the university for the last five years. This was announced today by the curator of the project Timur Magsumov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy named after Z.Sharafutdinov.
A well-known fact: NCSPU is a decade older than its official age. The university expanded and grew on the basis of three departments of Elabuga Pedagogical Institute. The idea of the establishment of an independent pedagogical institution belonged to Y.Petrushin, the Chairman of the Municipal Council of the People’s Deputies, the Rector of Elabuga Institute T.Galiullin and the first Rector of NCSPU Z.Sharafutdinov.
All this history and also the articles published by NCSPU professors will be included in the book which will have 250 pages. According to Timur Magsumov, the book will present the history and evolution of the university as well as the realities of today.
“Our anniversary issue is planned to be published right before the opening of the International Pedagogical Forum “Education: realities and prospects.” It will be symbolic because the Forum has been taking place at NCSPU for many years,” noted Timur Magsumov.
The Rector of NCSPU Alfinur Galiakberova highlighted the importance of a thorough preparation of the materials.
“Every line will be part of the history not only of our university but for Naberezhnye Chelny, too. Because NCSPU has been and is a source of manpower for the city schools,” stated Alfinur Galiakberova.
At the Rector’s meeting, the Rector also honored the student-activists. The data base “A virtual Quantorium named after D. Mendeleev tour” was created by the scientific and project group of the Department of Computer Science and Computational Mathematics. The project was nominated for obtaining a Certificate of State Registration.
The authors of the project:
Zulfiya Filatova – PhD in Pedagogy;
Boris Kiselev – head of the Laboratory of digital technologies of NCSPU Technopark;
Rustem Galiev, Deputy Head of Technopark;
The Rector also congratulated the students of group 432 who won in the category “A literary battle.”
Alfinur Galiakberova highlighted the contribution of students – athletes in the development of the university. NCSPU team won in the track and field competitions held as part of the Student Spartakiad of Naberezhnye Chelny.
