The girl’s endurance can be envied. She has achieved great results by the age of 18. A Master of Sports in taekwondo has just recently confirmed her Master of Sports status and has become a Master of Sports of International Class. Polina Kazakova is successful both in sports and in her studies. A third-year student of NCSPU Industrial-Pedagogical College assures us that she passes all her exams successfully.
She has been into taekwondo since she was 8. According to her, her father brought her to the first training and since then she has been into it.
“I liked the atmosphere there and the whole process. Firstly, my coach was Damir and then Maxim who introduced in the training new techniques and approaches,” claimed Polina.
Now Polina Kazakova is a self-sustaining athlete. She is a member of RT Taekwondo Federation and is coaching the kids.
“There are about 40 kids under my command. The other day, one of my athletes, a 6-year-old boy, won the second place at the taekwondo competitions which were held in the capital of Chuvashia. I am proud of my pupils!” noted Polina, smiling.
How did Polina manage to conquer the global arena of sports? Simple as it is! Being determined, diligent and optimistic. She became one of the best at the taekwondo competitions and at the Asian taekwondo championship held in Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There were many strong athletes there. The competitions brought together more than 390 athletes from 18 countries; they were competing in various age categories. The RF national team, which consisted of 60 athletes, showed outstanding results having won the first team place. Polina won two gold medals and three silver medals and was given the title of Master of Sports of International class.
She is grateful to her coaches, her father and herself.
“I am strong. I can overcome everything because they believe in me,” said the athlete; she is getting ready to conquer the winners’ podiums. We are proud of her!
NCSPU Rector Alfinur Galiakberova wishes Polina success, too!
