“It’s only purpose is the truth.” Science week held as part of World Science Day for Peace and Development is over

An official closing ceremony of Science Week in Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University was held today as part of the World Science Day for Peace and Development. During the whole week, the university held lectures, workshops, meetings and exhibitions; the central topic of all events was science.

The First Deputy Rector, Doctor of Pedagogy, Azat Mukhametshin, noted:

“It is gratifying to mention that Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University has a good infrastructure for establishing scientific projects. A very bright example is the activities undertaken by NCSPU Technopark and Quantorium. Being NCSPU students, choose science, show your interest to it. All the roads for your development are open!”

World Science Day for Peace and Development is marked annually on November 10; it aims to underline what important role science plays in the society; it also highlights the necessity of the participation of general public in the discussion of emerging scientific issues.

During the event, the students together with their scientific supervisors presented their projects and research at the student marathon of projects “The world through the prism of science.” The students presented more than 20 projects.

Science has no losers. Everyone, who started living it and is not able to imagine their life without it, is a winner.

Every student scientific society was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation. The Director of NCSPU Technopark Rustem Galiev gave educational grants to the most proactive students.
