Check and mate. Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University ranks third in chess tournament held as part of Student Youth Games

Playing chess can become an interesting hobby; it can become a powerful tool for
the development of your brain and the improvement of your study results, too. The
best confirmation of this is the chess tournament which was held as part of the
Student Youth Games.
The students of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University Bulat
Mukhametzyanov and Rozalina Fardeeva represented the university in the
intellectual tournament and brought the third place to their alma mater!
The tournament was initiated by the Student Council of Naberezhnye Chelny, the
Youth Center “Nur,” the children’s sports school “Etude” with the assistance from
the Department for the Youth Affairs and the Department of Physical Culture and
Sports of the executive committee of Naberezhnye Chelny.
Bulat Mukhametzyanov, a student of NCSPU Faculty of History and Geography,
won a silver medal in the individual event; Rozalina Fardeeva, a student of the
Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, won a bronze medal.
