Cooperation agreement between Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University and Russian House in Tunisia has been signed

To strengthen the cultural ties between Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical
University and the Russian House in Tunisia, the cooperation agreement has been
signed. The event was attended by the Rector of Naberezhnye Chelny State
Pedagogical University Alfinur Galiakberova and the Head of the Russian House
Yuri Zaitsev.
The aim of the cooperation consists in the promotion of the Russian language in
Tunisia and the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.
Recall, the Center for Open Education at the Russian House was opened in 2023
Since then, the Center has been holding the events dedicated to the Russian
history, traditions and culture.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the development prospects which include the
joint educational programs, student and staff exchange and also the holding of
various cultural events. Special attention will be drawn to the promotion of the
Russian language and literature in Tunisia.
“We are sure that our cooperation will open up new opportunities for the students
and professors of the two countries,” noted NCSPU Rector Alfinur Galiakberova.
“It is an important step towards strengthening of mutual understanding and
friendship between our peoples.”
The Head of the Russian House in Tunisia Yuri Zaitsev hopes that this cooperation
will become the basis for a long-term, fruitful partnership. “We are happy to start
walking this path with NCSPU; we hope that our joint efforts will bring significant
results,” claimed Yuri Zaitsev.
The cooperation agreement opens up new horizons for education and the cultural
exchange; it will contribute to further development of Russian-Tunisian relations.
