only institute that works in the area of linguistics – Turkmen National Institute of
World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi. More than 300 Turkmen

The Turkmen educators learnt modern teaching technologies. The topics included:
a lesson’s design for a math teacher, the tools aimed at evaluating the educational
results at the computer science lessons, an integrated lesson of Russian and
literature with the use of digital technologies, the use of technologies for building
reading literacy at a primary school, the educational results at the chemistry and
biology lessons.
NCSPU professors also gave classes at the Joint Turkmen-Russian secondary
school named after A.Pushkin. They met with the representatives of
Rossotrudnichestvo in Turkmenistan. Konstantin Kalinin, PhD in Philology, Head
of the Department of Russian and Tatar Philology, noted that the meeting they had
with Marina Passyuk, the author of the Russian textbook, was significant.
“We discussed the cooperation plan relating to holding the Olympiads; we
highlighted that we are going to take into account the programs of the educational
establishments of Turkmenistan. This work promises to be fruitful for all
participants of the project. I should add that we found time to visit the National
Museum of History and Ethnography of Turkmenistan; we got familiar with the
history, flora and fauna of the country, with their national dresses and their way of
life. In a word, we are coming home with communication experience with foreign
colleagues and we hope that the courses were useful and effective,” stated our
professors.
