“The main task now is to adequately represent the university and the city at the republican competitions.” Anastasia Konyaeva is getting ready for MMA Republican Championship

The athletes have been training hard during the vacations. A first-year student of
NCSPU Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Anastasia Konyaeva is now at
sport sessions. Very soon she is supposed to take part in the MMA Republican
Championship.
The sports club where Nastya trains was visited by Nabi Nabiev. A Pro MMA
fighter, the bantamweight champion of Hardcore MMA, the youngest owner of the
title in the history of HFCMMA gave a workshop for the athletes from Chelny.
“We are having three practices a day. The club “Geidar” from Udmurtia and the
club “The Son of the Fatherland” from Naberezhznye Chelny had their workouts
together with us. Thanks again for the mentors for their good advice: to Sergei and
Rolan - coaches from Naberezhnye Chelny; to Ural Malikovich –the President of
the MMA Federation in Udmurtia, to Maxim – a coach from Udmurtia,” says
Nastya.
Nastya is a three-time Champion of Russia in unarmed combat; a two-time
Champion of Russia in MMA; and also a World Champion in unarmed combat of
2024 Nastya assures us that she can juggle sports and studies very well. As all
students now she is studying for exams.
