Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University Pedagogical University
organizes “University Sessions” that will be held in Naberezhnye Chelny. One
hundred children from the Donetsk People's Republic will arrive in Naberezhnye
Chelny this week. A grand opening ceremony will take place on August 15th at the
“Bumazhnik” children's recreational camp. The thematic sessions feature a 10-day
program divided into three thematic blocks. Participants will learn about the
university's activities and projects, and will also become acquainted with the
Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.
It is worth recalling that nearly 2,500 children from the Donetsk and Luhansk
People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, are taking
part in the “University Sessions” program under the auspices of the Russian
Ministry of Education. The program aims to strengthen Russian identity and
includes career guidance, general education, and cultural-historical components.
The educational and tourism programs “University Sessions” are being
implemented at higher education institutions subordinate to the Russian Ministry
of Education and the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, in
collaboration with the youth movement “The Movement of the First”.
This year, 1,140 schoolchildren from the DPR, 818 children from the LPR, 350
teenagers from the Zaporizhzhia region, and 170 children from the Kherson region
will participate in “University Sessions” at pedagogical universities under the
Russian Ministry of Education.
Overall, the Russian Ministry of Education plans to include 69,598 children from
the reunified regions in its recreation and wellness programs throughout 2025
