Sergei Kravtsov discusses development process prospects with winners of ArtMasters

Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, together with Alexander
Zhuravsky, Deputy Head of the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects, held a
meeting at the Media Center of the Russian Ministry of Education with the winners
of the National Open Championship of Creative Competencies ArtMasters in the
“Juniors” age category. They discussed the participants' projects, internship
opportunities, and future prospects for professional growth.
“We have gathered at the Ministry of Education to summarize the results of the
ArtMasters championship in the juniors category and to consider the prospects for
the competition and its participants. We are interested in discussing your projects
and how you can further develop your skills. In our country, thanks to the
President of Russia, everything is being done so that you can realize yourselves.
For our part, we are also creating opportunities for you to unlock your potential. I
am confident you will receive interesting internship and employment offers,” noted
Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.
During the meeting, the participants shared their impressions of competing in the
championship; they talked about the projects they created and discussed the
opportunities the championship provided them and their plans for further
professional development.
“ArtMasters is a large ecosystem that includes both the competition and
opportunities for education and further career advancement. It is a system that
allows young people to realize themselves. Today, a significant number of
opportunities have been created in Russia. Many of the participants start in the
'Juniors' category, then continue participating in adult categories, shaping their
careers in creative professions. And it is important to us that this project is
supported by relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Education,” said
Alexander Zhuravsky, Deputy Head of the Presidential Directorate for SocialProjects.
The participants asked Sergey Kravtsov and Alexander Zhuravsky questions about
organizing internships and expanding the project internationally. Responding to a
question about his school hobbies, the Minister of Education mentioned trying
music and being actively involved in sports. In turn, the participants shared what
inspires and motivates them.
Sergey Kravtsov invited the ArtMasters participants to take part in projects and
competitions supported by the Russian Ministry of Education. They also took part
in a tour of the Media Center of the Russian Ministry of Education.
On August 2nd, a ceremonial awards ceremony for the winners of the National
Open Championship of Creative Competencies ArtMasters in the “Juniors” age
category was held in the “Atom” pavilion at VDNKh. In the fifth season of the
junior championship, 5,867 young creators aged 14 to 17 participated. 100 finalists
made it to the finals: 87 participants from 37 regions of Russia and 13 from
Moscow and the Moscow region, comprising the top ten talents in each of the ten
creative competencies.
It should be recalled that in 2025, the ArtMasters championship became part of the
national project “Youth and Children.”
