From October 1-4, Kazan hosted the Third Youth Scientific Congress of the
Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries, which brought together 100
young researchers and scientists from Russia and the researchers from more than
20 OIC countries. Adelina Safina, Associate Professor of the Department of
Romano-Germanic Languages and Teaching Methods, took part in the event.
The researchers from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Nigeria,
Lebanon, Malaysia, Indonesia, Jordan, Turkmenistan and other countries took part
in the large-scale Congress.
The Congress program was rich in events and varied. On the opening day, October
2, a presentation of the scientific activities of Kazan Federal University and
presentations by experts from leading educational institutions, research centers and
international organizations took place. At the panel session “The role of science in
strengthening public well-being in the context of new global challenges”,
participants asked their questions.
The Forum continued in five thematic sections: “Biomedicine and Biotechnology”,
“Oil and Gas Technologies”, “Modern International Relations and International
Law”, “Architecture, Design, Art” and “Modern Technologies in Education”.
The Associate Professor of NCSPU made a presentation at the round table
discussion at the section “Modern technologies in Education”.
“I had a great opportunity to share experiences with colleagues from different
countries,” said Adelina. “We discussed current trends and modern technologies
in education and, just as importantly, we were able to establish strong professional
and friendly contacts.”
The participants praised the high level of the organization of the event, the well-coordinated work of the team of organizers and volunteers, as well as the diverse
cultural program.
