conducted by the head of the department Radik Galiullin. Every new academic
year means new acquaintances and, of course, rules. The students were instructed
in detail about the schedule of the educational process: classes, rules of attendance
and assessment. Special attention was paid to the norms of Russian legislation
which is an important aspect for international students seeking to adapt to life in a
new country. Migration registration issues were also discussed; it will help
students avoid possible difficulties in the future.
“This academic year, the preparatory department has accepted students from
various parts of the world. Among the enrolled students are the representatives of
Turkmenistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Togo, Indonesia, Peru and many
other countries. About 100 students from such countries as Peru, Zimbabwe,
Indonesia, Uganda, India, Malaysia, Togo, South Africa, Guinea-Bissau are also
expected to arrive,” Radik Galiullin said.
It is worth noting that their Russian language training will last throughout the
academic year; then the students will be able to enroll in Russian universities in
various fields of study. They will learn to speak Russian fluently, write essays and
