On January 29, 2026, hosted an online seminar as part of the Regional
Methodological Day, organized by the Institute of Education Development of the
Republic of Tatarstan. The event was held for heads, methodologists, and teachers
of educational organizations and was aimed at developing the professional
competence of education system workers, exchanging best practices, and
supporting current educational initiatives. More than 150 teachers from the
Republic of Tatarstan took part in the seminar. A total of 158 connections were
recorded during the video conference.
The seminar discussed the topic “Approaches to Organizing Work with Children
with a Migration History: Adaptation, Language Support, Inclusion”. It addressed
the issues related to the admission and registration of foreign citizens in
educational organizations, language training, and adaptation mentoring.
Welcome speeches were delivered by Minzaliya Zakirova, Deputy Minister of
Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Lyudmila Nugumanova,
Rector of the Institute of Education Development of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Associate Professors of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University
(NCSPU), Nailya Khakimova and Leila Rakhmatullina, also took part in the
seminar. They shared their experience in developing methodological tools for
conducting a system of educational activities with children from migrant families.
They revealed the specifics of organizing this work according to the modules “Me
in a New Culture”, “Me in Society”, and “Working with Parents”.
This system of activities is designed for planning, implementing, and evaluating
the effectiveness of educational activities in schools involving migrant children
and their families. It will help to establish conscious interaction and support theprofessional confidence of teachers in educational organizations.
