Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University keeps in touch with Turkmenistan. Participation in Finals of International English Language Olympiad

The professors and students of the History and Philology Department of
Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University, enrolled in the “Foreign
Language” and “Second Foreign Language” programs, took part in the opening
ceremony of the final stage of the International Online Foreign Languages
Olympiad. The event has been held for several years by NCSPU partner - the
Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages (Ashgabat).
The event was attended by students of groups 371, 372, and the Deputy Dean, A.
Sinichkina.
The Dean of the Faculty, Gulnur Polkina, addressed the Olympiad participants
with a welcome speech. In her address, she emphasized that the partnership
between the two universities facilitates effective cooperation, including online
seminars, scientific-practical conferences, Olympiads, and other events.
The Olympiad gathered participants from around the world. Taking part in the
Olympiad increases students' motivation to learn foreign languages and allows
them to gain international experience.
Our students demonstrated excellent skills in English grammar, listening, reading,
and speaking. Representatives from groups 371, 372, and 571 advanced to the final
round.
The Final stage of the Olympiad took place on April 10, 2026, in an online format,
where each participant competed on equal terms with students from different
countries. We are proud of our students' preparation - they not only tested their
knowledge but also gained confidence in their abilities.
We thank the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages and Methods of
Teaching Them for the quality of student preparation!
The results will be announced in May.Students and faculty are eagerly awaiting great news.
