Representatives of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University work as experts of final stage of All-Russian Russian Language Olympiad

From April 4 to April 11, 2026, the final stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad
in the Russian Language took place in the capital of the Republic of Mordovia. The
organizer of the Olympiad is the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation,
and the operator is the Lednev Institute of Content and Teaching Methods.
More than 500 schoolchildren, who had demonstrated the best results in regions,
gathered at the “Tavla” Education Center in Saransk to take part in the country's
main intellectual competition in the Russian Language. Over eight days, they
participated in competitive challenges. The final stage of the Russian Language
Olympiad consisted of two rounds. In the first round, the participants demonstrated
knowledge of phonetics, grammar, lexicology, morphemics and word formation, as
well as the history of the Russian language. The second research round was
dedicated to working with material from the languages of the peoples of Russia, as
well as dialects of the Russian language.
The participants' work was evaluated by an expert commission composed of
leading specialists in the field of the Russian language. The commission included
representatives from universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vologda,
Naberezhnye Chelny, and Saransk. They organized the competitive rounds,
conducted task analyses, showed the participants their work, and reviewed appeals.
Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University was represented by Konstantin
Kalinin, Ph D in Philological Sciences, Acting Head of the Department of Russian
and Tatar Philology, and Ruzil Zagertdinov, a graduate student at the Faculty of
History and Philology.
The team of the Republic of Tatarstan was represented by 21 participants, 10 of
whom became winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the All-Russian
School Olympiad in the Russian Language.
