Unified Open House Day at all teacher training universities subordinate to the
Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation will be held for the first time over
two days - April 18 and 19 Students and their parents are invited to participate.
“The Unified Open House Day provides a unique opportunity for future educators
to learn about admission and study conditions, the opportunities that student life
offers, and their professional trajectory. We see that teacher training programs
have maintained their leadership in popularity among applicants in 2025, as
evidenced by the competition - 12 applications per place. The employment rate of
their graduates also remains high,” noted Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education
of the Russian Federation.
At 36 teacher training universities, prospective applicants will be introduced to the
specifics and rules of the 2026 admissions campaign. This year, the number of
state-funded places at pedagogical universities exceeds 37,000.
Guests will learn about the universities’ achievements, the most in-demand fields
of study, and professional development opportunities. Information will also be
available about dual-profile training programs, which significantly expand
employment prospects.
For school students, tours of academic buildings will be held, and they will be
introduced to research spaces and university infrastructure, which is continuously
developed and renewed as part of the national project “Youth and Children”.
