Applications for participation in the conference have been submitted by students
and graduate students from universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan,
Izhevsk, Saransk, Oryol, Yelabuga, and Naberezhnye Chelny. Presentations are
planned in the following sections: “Archaeology and History of Tatarstan”,
“Archaeology of the Lower Kama Region”, “History of Russia from Ancient
Times to the Early 20th Century”, “Modern History of Russia”, “The Great
Patriotic War: Feats of the Front and Home Front”, “World History: Ancient
World, Middle Ages, Modern Times”, “Contemporary History of Foreign
Countries”, “Socio-Philosophical and Economic Aspects of Societal
Development”, and “State and Law: History, Theory, Practice”.
Schoolchildren from the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny and Almetyevsk will
present reports in the conference sections “Historical Local Lore at School” and
“Current Issues of History: A School Student's Perspective”.
The annual conference “Modern Research in Socio-Humanitarian Problems” is a
landmark event for NCSPU and the Faculty of History and Philology. Conference
participants have the opportunity to express their point of view on a current
scientific problem, present the results of their research activities, and, most
importantly, gain new knowledge through discussions and the exchange of
experiences.
Presenters who deliver the highest quality reports will be awarded diplomas for 1st,
2nd, and 3rd place winners. All participants will receive certificates of
participation.
Winners of the sections will also have the opportunity to publish an article in theproceedings of the All-Russian Student Scientific-Practical Conference
“Challenges of the 21st Century”.
