"The main thing is that every child should study in comfort and receive quality
knowledge." This was stated by Chairman of the Government of the Russian
Federation Mikhail Mishustin in his welcoming speech at the final meeting of the
Board of the Ministry of Education of Russia. The meeting is taking place at the
Mashuk Knowledge Centre in Pyatigorsk, jointly with Deputy Chairman of the
Government of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Education of Russia
Sergey Kravtsov, as well as with deputy heads of the highest executive bodies of
the constituent entities of the Russian Federation overseeing social issues, and
heads of executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation
responsible for state administration in the field of education. The Republic of
Tatarstan is represented, together with the Minister of Education and Science of
Tatarstan, by the Rector of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University
Alfinur Galiakberova.
The participants discussed the results of the education system's work for 2025 and
set objectives for 2026 At the meeting, Sergey Kravtsov noted that the
competition for teacher training universities in 2025 reached 12 applicants per
state-funded place. Teacher training programs meet modern requirements - over
80% of graduates are employed. These figures are confirmed by data. In 2025, our
Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University ranked 9th in the national
ranking for graduate employment and salary. We aim to maintain these positions in
the future. The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation also outlined the
tasks for 2026 He highlighted the development of kindergartens and support for
educators during the Year of Preschool Education, as well as the launch of the
projects for preschoolers.
Furthermore, the Minister of Education noted that the development of the targetededucation mechanism for teacher training programs will continue. Tools to support
teachers are being introduced, one of which is behavior assessment. Another
working mechanism is an official chatbot for the protection of the honor and
dignity of teachers, developed by the Ministry. It began operating in early April
and is available to teachers in all regions of the country via the MAX messenger.
