A system for training scientific personnel from the school level to highly qualified
specialists is being developed in Tatarstan. This was announced by Ramis
Muzipov, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of
Tatarstan, at a scientific-practical seminar in Kazan. According to him, the
development of science is directly linked to human resources and is the foundation
of the country's technological development and sovereignty. This was reported by
the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of
Tatarstan.
He noted that the Republic of Tatarstan places special emphasis on the early
involvement of schoolchildren in scientific activities. Career guidance projects and
initiatives to popularize natural science fields - physics-mathematics and physics-
chemistry profiles - are being implemented. These initiatives are aimed at fostering
an interest in science as early as the school stage.
"Speaking about technological development, it is important to note that Tatarstan
is implementing projects aimed at generating interest in science from an early age.
In the near future, a project on information and communication technologies and
artificial intelligence will be launched, which includes school clubs and
educational activities designed to engage students in natural science and
technological fields," added Muzipov.
According to him, such work is already yielding noticeable results. Tatarstan holds
leading positions in the field of education and science: the region leads in digital
transformation, is among the subjects with high-quality school education, and is
among the leaders in participation in Olympiad competitions.
265 schoolchildren from the republic became winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian School Olympiad. Furthermore, Tatarstan is among the top three regions
of Russia in terms of scientific and technological development.
"As for the agenda under discussion today, certainly, the certification of scientific
and teacher training personnel is a key element of the technological development
and sovereignty of our country. At the heart of this process are the personnel,
scientists, and educators from the school level to highly qualified specialists. Our
task is to ensure an influx of personnel into the scientific field and to create
conditions for this influx to be sustained and multiplied. In the Republic of
Tatarstan, systematic work has been established for this purpose, career guidance
and science popularization projects are being implemented, and we are already
seeing concrete results today," he noted.
It should be recalled that a scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the
development of the system of state certification of scientific and scientific-
pedagogical workers is taking place in Kazan. Representatives of the Ministry of
Education and Science of Russia, universities, scientific organizations, and
dissertation councils are discussing changes in the procedure for awarding
academic degrees and practical issues of the system's operation.
