Vocational college and technical school students can receive up to 2 million rubles
to develop their projects and initiatives. This was announced by Deputy Prime
Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, as reported by the government’s MAX channel.
The call for applications is now open for the “Rosmolodezh.Grants: Drive
Communities” competition for individuals. The competition features a single
category: “#drive_communities”.
Participants may seek funding for projects aimed at creating student media in
secondary vocational education institutions, conducting educational programs,
events, competitions, and festivals, as well as launching new or developing
existing sections and clubs.
Dmitry Chernyshenko recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin has
emphasized the importance of developing an effective secondary vocational
education system focused on national goals. According to Dmitry Chernyshenko,
student communities help create additional opportunities for students to realize
their potential, and the competition, held under the national project “Youth and
Children”, allows vocational education students to receive up to 2 million rubles to
develop such initiatives, including educational programs and thematic events.
The competition has been held since 2024 and brings together student projects
from across the country. Participants gain the opportunity to manage their own
initiatives independently, as well as acquire experience in teamwork and resource
allocation.
Head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov reported that in 2025, 63 projects received
support totaling over 75 million rubles. These include career guidance initiatives,
first aid training programs, projects for developing volunteering, and creating
student communities within educational institutions.
Citizens of Russia and the Republic of Abkhazia aged 14 to 35 can apply for thecompetition. The application deadline is May 20, and applications are accepted on
the “Youth of Russia” website.
