Vladimir Putin instructs RF Government to develop measures for digitalization of educational sector

President of Russia Vladimir Putin has instructed the Russian Government and
executive bodies in the country’s regions to develop measures for the further
digitalization of the education sector. The list of directives following the
President’s meeting with Cabinet members on March 4 has been published on the
Kremlin’s official website.
First, the Government and the constituent entities of the Federation are to “analyze
the practice of using digital platform solutions in the field of education”.
Then, taking into account the results of the analysis, the Cabinet and regional
authorities are to “submit proposals for the further integration of digital platform
solutions into the educational process”, as well as for mitigating the risks
associated with their use.
Responsibility for fulfilling the directive has been assigned to Prime Minister of
the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and the heads of regions. They are
required to submit a report no later than December 1 of the current year, 2026
