Bright holiday! Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University launches a series of events in Naberezhnye Chelny dedicated to Victory Day

Traditionally, the celebration of May 9th in Naberezhnye Chelny began with a
solemn rally at the monument to Musa Jalil. In the year of the 81st anniversary of
the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the year celebrating the 120th
anniversary of the birth of the Soviet Tatar poet Musa Jalil, Naberezhnye Chelny
State Pedagogical University prepared a large-scale performance.
The performance vividly and emotionally portrayed the fate of M. Jalil - a man
whose creativity and heroism became symbols of courage and loyalty to the
Motherland. Through stage images, the audience was able to feel the drama of the
poet’s wartime biography, his resilience in the face of trials, and his strength of
spirit, which remained unbroken even in captivity.
Students of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University reenacted key
episodes from the last months of the poet’s life. During the performance, his poems
were recited, including lines from the famous “Moabit Notebook”, written while he
was imprisoned. These works, which stand as testimonies of unyielding will and
love for the Motherland, continue to touch the hearts of readers around the world.
The musical part of the program was enhanced by a performance from the pop
vocal studio “Charm”.

-Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan - Svetlana
Kogogina;

Residents and guests of the city.
At the conclusion of the rally, all present laid flowers at the foot of the monument
to Musa Jalil.
Students of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University take part in the
Victory Parade in Naberezhnye Chelny every year, marching in formation in front
of the “Motherland” monument.
Meanwhile, Marat Galimov, a student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Physical
Education, and Sports, set up a field kitchen in one of the city’s squares, treating
everyone to hot porridge.
