Professor of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University evaluated the performance of schoolchildren at All-Russian Russian Language Olympiad

North-Caucasus Federal University (Stavropol) held the final phase of the All-Russian Russian Language Olympiad for the schoolchildren. This year the Olympiad brought together more than 300 schoolchildren from 77 parts of the Russian Federation – the winners and prizewinners of regional phases.

The jury consisted of the leading specialists in the field of the Russian Language from Moscow, Moscovskaya Oblast, Saint-Petersburg, Vologda, Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Naberezhnye Chelny, Smolensk and Stavropol. Konstantin Kalinin, the Deputy Head of the Institute for Supplementary Professional Education, Ph D in Philology, was on the jury as an expert. The jury evaluated the works of the participants and identified the winners and prizewinners. Following the results of the Olympiad, Konstantin Kalinin was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education of the Stavropol Territory for his huge contribution in the preservation of the Russian language and the development of speech culture.

The All-Russian Russian Language Olympiad is the most significant competition among the schoolchildren; it demands serious training and solid knowledge. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the team consisting of 18 schoolchildren from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Bugulma, Zelenodolsk and Muslyumovo. According to the results of the Olympiad, 11 out of 18 pupils became the prizewinners of the Finals.
