The Students of NCSPU Faculty of Philology took part in the III International English Language Olympiad which was initiated by Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmamed Azadi. The NCSPU Department of Romano-Germanic Languages was a co-organizer of this event.

33 students during 90 minutes took a test consisting of 10 tasks: on listening, reading and grammar.

On 18 April, there was an online closing ceremony: the Dean of the NCSPU Faculty of Foreign Languages Gulnur Polkina welcomed the participants. Then, during the awarding ceremony, the winners and prizewinners got their Certificates of Appreciation. The NCSPU students won the 1, 2 and 3 places.

The first place went to Stepan Kostin, Sabina Malafeeva and Elvina Safiullina.

The second place went to Anna Faizova, Aidar Safiullin, Anastasiya Izgarova, Anastasiya Mukhamatullina and Esenia Kuchko.

The third place went to Bozhena Muromets, Polina Efimova and Ekaterina Strelkova.
