Professors of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University take part in the International conference dedicated to work of F.Dostoevsky

University of Algiers 2 named after Abou EL Kacem Saâdallah held an International scientific and practical conference on “Modern perception of F.Dostoevsky in world literature”. Fyodor Dostoevsky is one of the most widely read Russian writers in Algeria. The participants of the conference discussed the results of their research and the impact of Dostoevsky’s works on his followers.

Among the members of the scientific committee were the professors and staff of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University: Lenar Galiev, an NCSPU Associate Professor, the Head of International Relations, PhD in Sociology; Radik Galiullin, an NCSPU Associate Professor, PhD in Philology, Lena Brazhnik, an NCSPU Associate Professor, PhD in Philology.

The work of the conference was opened by the Rector of University of Algiers 2 named after Abou EL Kacem Saâdallah. The participants were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Arabic Language and Literature Ali Burnissa and his Deputy Director for Science Nadia Gezali.

The conference was held in a mixed format. The speakers from Russia took part in it online. The Russian Federation was represented by the scholars from Russian University of People’s Friendship, the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute and the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University. Our university was represented by Radik Gaiullin and Lena Brazhnik who gave a presentation on “The novel by F.Dostoevsky “Crime and punishment” from the point of view of the poetics of crime fiction.”

It should be noted that the professors from Russia Vera Mikhailova, Alsu Safina, Venera Novikova and Bulat Garifullin, who teach Russian as a second language in Algeria under the patronage of the NCSPU on the request of the Ministry of Education RF, gave their presentations at the conference, too. Vera Mikhailova spoke on “The relevance of F.Dostoevsky’s works at the Russian language lessons for the Arab speaking Islamic class.”
