Student and professors of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University voted in Presidential elections

Russia had the Presidential elections. The elections were held during the three days: on March 15, 16 and 17.

There were 173 polling stations in Naberezhnye Chelny. One of them was located at the main Building of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University. Many NCSPU professors and workers voted at the NCSPU. The major part of the personnel cast their votes on March 15.

The NCSPU Rector Alfinur Galiakberova cast her vote also at the polling station at the NCSPU.

This day became special for the students who voted at a large-scale public event for the first time.

Aziza Turnaevaa student:

“I voted at school №27. I think it is obligatory for everyone to take part in the life of their country. You can’t be indifferent. Every citizen should make their contribution in the future of their country.”

Almaz Sharafullin - a student:

“I am a future teacher of history and social studies. Surely, the past, present and the future of the country are important for me. I will certainly vote for my President!”

Elza Farukshinaa student:

“I think that the Presidential elections are a very significant! Casting our votes we choose our leader! I felt a great responsibility today selecting a candidate from the list.

As it was my first election, the organizers were very attentive to me. I was given souvenirs as a gift: a notebook, pen and a key fob. I was nice!”

“The Presidential election is the main event in our country! I am happy I have the right to vote. For me this event is significant: we vote for our future!”
