NCSPU holds municipal contest of multimedia presentations “Traditions of my family”

The Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University held an entertaining and inspiring event dedicated to the Year of Family – a municipal contest of multimedia presentations “The traditions of my family.” The professors, students and schoolchildren made wonderful presentations about family traditions which are passed from generation to generation. The participants were not only from Naberezhnye Chelny but also from Aktanysh district RT.

The event was initiated and held by the Faculty of Philology. The jury consisted of the Dean of the Faculty of Philology Gulnur Polkina, the Deputy Deans Anastasiya Sinichkina and Gulnara Sharaeva.

The Dean of the NCSPU Faculty of Philology greeted the participants. In her welcoming speech, she noted that family traditions play an important role in the personality development as they help shape a sense of belonging, strengthen the family bonds and transmit the values and knowledge.

Each and every presentation was unique and memorable. The contestants highlighted that children learn to respect their elders, be responsible and learn to care for their nearest and dearest through family traditions; it helps them become independent and successful.

The winners and their supervisors were awarded the certificates of appreciation.
