Student Spring Talent Show 2024: Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology told complex story about an orphan

The students of the NCSPU Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology showed an interesting and sensual story called “Pollianna”.

The performance is about the way to keep yourself intact in an alien and incomprehensible society; it also reminds the audience about the importance of having a happy childhood, love and family. Pollianna, having lost her parents, gets in her aunt’s family. Her aunt is known to be an imperious and influential woman from a small American town. The girl faces strict upbringing and prohibitions; she feels lonely in an unknown world. Despite all the difficult circumstances, Pollianna doesn’t lose hope and looks optimistically forward to the future.

The actors attracted the audience’s attention creating the atmosphere of a small American town; their dancing was superb and the plot was interesting.

“After my younger sister had read this book, my mom decided to read it too; then my grandmother and me. In many ways, this book is about the importance of a family in a child’s growth,” said the director of the performance Aelita Chvarova.

“As usual, the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology amazed us all! A wonderful acting, excellent director work. The performance passed in one breath, good for them!” noted the Rector Alfinur Galiakberova.
