Topical issues relating to mathematical education discussed at NCSPU

The International scientific and practical conference “The prospects of the development of mathematical education and information technologies” was held at the NCSPU in a mixed format. According to the moderator of the plenary meeting Elena Krasnova, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, PhD in Pedagogy, the aim and tasks of the conference are to identify the topical problems of fundamental mathematics; to consider the ways of solving the problems relating to modern state of mathematical education; to present the possibilities and prospects of the development of modern digital technologies in education. The conference was attended online by the NCSPU international partners from Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus and Tajikistan.

Irina Drobysheva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the Department of Business Computer Science and Higher Mathematics (Kaluga branch of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation), gave a presentation at the plenary meeting. The speaker raised the issue of improving the training of students in the field of mathematical education.

The conference heard the presentations given by Eskermessula Alibek, Doctor of Philosophy, the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Studies and Computerization from the Aralyk Pedagogical Institute named after I.Altynsarin; Vadim Tsapov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor of the Donetsk State University; Alexei Isavnin, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, KFU professor, Nikolai Shilov, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor of Innopolis (Kazan), Vladimir Ermakov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University (Belarus).

Then the work continued in breakout sessions:

·         Topical issues in fundamental mathematics;

·         Modern digital technologies in education;

·         Basic problems and prospects of the development of GS education.
